What kind of dog should i get?

Hello my name is Julio and I'm wanting to get a dog. My brother is going to be moving to college next year and my parents will be working during the weekdays, so i will be lonely after school. I was wondering what a nice dog for me would be. The size doesn't matter to me, id like a dog that doesn't need too much exercise, one that doesn't bark or shed too much, I'd be at school for around 7 hours every weekday. I live in a small house with a small yard but I do have a park nearby. So what is a nice quiet dog that will be my buddy while I'm home alone? Also if anyone has any ideas how to convince my parents to get me a dog that would be helpful ( my dad is scared of dogs). Thank you in advance.

What would you think of a man that was considering having a child by a surrogate?

I'm a man of almost 30, I've no real want to be married and am doing rather well. However, I'd like to have a child at some point. I've been pondering possibly doing so by surrogacy and then hiring a nanny or au pair to lend a hand. Opinions?

I met a girl at a party we hit it off right away spent part of the night and next morning just cuddling and talking until we fell asleep woke up talked some more exchanged numbers. there was one other guy there hitting on her. she textd me as soon as she got home we texted for a couple hours then she went to bed its been going like that the past few days she had a bf that she just got back wit then called me right after they broke up saying shes done for good now shes saying shes not sure if she wants to leave hime cuz of how long they were together she told me she feels like shes known me a lot longer than she has and that she feels like she knows me as good as some of her best friends, i told her i was really starting to like her and i asked her if she just saw me as a good friend or something more later on and she she didnt know yet she was just going with the flow. also the night we went home she was saying that she wouldnt have had as much fun without me being there. we really hit it off and she texts me first every day. Im trying to figure out if she likes me but shes a quiet girl and hard to read sorry i got the timeline messed up a little bit. but what do yall think?

Does using car A/C at higher/lower waste more/less gas?

I've been pondering this, but as long as it's on it should make no difference, or at least not a noticeable difference. Am I wrong?

Signs of Dilation...?

I am having my first internal this afternoon. I'm also 40w+1d, is it possible that I'm already dilated without realising? Everyone says that you need to have cramps and contractions etc. I haven't had any of that... it makes me a little sad. Thanks.

Question about mucus plug?

hi, im 39 weeks pregnant today and yesterday i got my first cervix dilation test. the obgyn said i was hardly dilated. later that day my boyfriend and i had sex and after awile when i used the bathroom i noticed a very light pink on the toilet paper. i also noticed some pink later that nite in the toilet after i went. i was wondering if this was just because of the cervix check or if it might have been my bloody show? also lately i have more discharge and today it was really stringy and looked almost cottage cheese like, is this my mucus plug? sorry for so many questions this is my first time and i was just really curious

I think humanity is Enhanced through scientific progress. Actually, humanity is obviously enhanced through scientific progress. Take modern medicine. Modern medicine is science. I would have died at the age of 10 without modern medicine. I nearly died at 48 but modern medicine saved my life. There where a couple of other incidence where the science of modern medicine saved my life. A couple of weeks ago I got a stint in a coronary artery bi pass. Some more life extension courtesy of science. July 7 i'm gonna get a lap band. Life extended still more by science, I absolutely love science - it's keeping me alive and I'm having fun with life.
