Not your typical mucous plug...have no idea what it was, never had it previously with either pregnancy...ideas?

This happened to me, it looked like a thin piece of dried out skin, I wish I could be more of a help but I can't remember how far along I was when this happened. I think I was pretty far up there so it could be part of the mucus plug. Not much longer, I was exactly 39 weeks when I had my 2nd and induced at 40 with my first. I had natural labour with my 2nd and it was so easy and amazing. Stay away from the gas if possible :) good luck
